Chippendale Hall Commode with Door K428
Although its origins are 18th Century and Chippendale, this commode was actually inspired by an Italian antique. The kidney shape with concave center and asymmetrical convex curved ends is extremely difficult to execute. We have paired Grafted Walnut on doors and top with Olive Ash Burl drawer fronts. The base is broken up by pilasters adorned with solid Walnut acanthus leaf carvings.
